Our bottles are made entirely from sugar cane. We chose sugar cane because it is a low-impact crop that requires little to no fertilizer or additional irrigation. From sugar cane, as the name suggests, we extract sugar. But that's not all that can be produced from sugar cane, once all the sweetness has been squeezed out, the remaining pulp, called bagasse, can be used as fuel, animal feed, fertilizer or in our case, durable plant-based plastic, our sugar cane comes from Brazil. But don't worry, it is not deforested. It comes from pastureland 2500 km from the Amazon basin. After all, our goal is to make the planet a better, more beautiful place for everyone and everything... including the rainforests!
